Intro

Our client is a manufacturing company with a history of several decades. They manufacture and distribute their own cosmetic products. After a long R&D phase, they created a very specialized product, which they marketed through their own channels and various offline stores. Thanks to a recommendation of a joint business partner, they contacted us and soon we started working together.

The team at Mashup Digital have shown us the fact, that a well built, and well targeted sales funnel can greatly increase the sales of our flagship products.

THE BRIEF

This product has also been featured in their existing webshop for years and has had some sales, however market insights shown that the market is much larger than what is covered through the webshop. Because of all this they realized they need to strengthen their online presence. The goal was to find a way to successfully sell the product online.

THE CHALLENGE

Since the product was a new type of solution for an existing problem people have, we needed to educate them, and build up the sales funnel in a way it can convince the target market that this will be a good and healthyoption for their problem. Our goal was to reach potential customers who would be interested in the product anyway but just don’t know about it so far.

THE DIGITAL MASHUP

We achieved this goal by building a multi-step sales funnel, where we continuously took the potential customers of the target group through various PPC ads, Facebook and Google Ads, as well as search engine optimization.

As a result, already in the first months, the product achieved ten times as many sales in this sales funnel as in the brand’s own webshop, which had been in operation for years.
